Sewer repairs slated for North La Grange Road Thursday

LA GRANGE — Village officials are alerting motorists La Grange Road north of Ogden Avenue will be closed for emergency sewer repairs, beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday.

Lane closures will be required in both directions so a broken sewer line under the northbound lanes of Ogden can be repaired. At least one lane of traffic in both the northbound and southbound lanes will be open at all times.

Traffic delays are anticipated, and motorist are encouraged to take an alternate route until work is completed on the one-day project.

La Grange officials also remind drivers of the ban on cell phone use and texting in a construction zone, except for talking on a hands-free device. Police will be ticketing offenders.
