Two dead in La Grange house fire on Kensington

LA GRANGE — An elderly man and another person, a female, are dead after a three-alarm house fire early Saturday on South Kensington Avenue.
Crews headed to the fire in the 900 block of South Kensington Avenue about 12:45 a.m., La Grange Fire Department Capt. Dave Rapp said.
Two people were hospitalized due to the house fire, which was raised to a three-alarm blaze, Rapp said. The cause of the fire was still under investigation Saturday afternoon.
One of the injured, an unidentified man in his 90s, was pronounced dead at La Grange Hospital at 3:32 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. Names of the deceased have not been released yet.
