Westchester police blotter for Sept. 4.

The following incidents were listed among the reports of the Westchester Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
BURGLARY
A central air conditioning unit was taken from a back yard in the 700 block of Norfolk on Aug. 29. A resident of the home told police she saw someone carrying the unit from her yard at 11 a.m.
A laptop computer was taken from a home in the 600 block of Manchester on Aug. 29. A window air conditioner was removed to gain entry through to the home between 6 and 11:37 p.m.
Change and jewelry were taken from a home in the 600 block of Suffolk after someone broke through a rear window of the home between 1 and 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 27.
DAMAGE
All four tires were slashed on a car parked in the 1300 block of Balmoral between 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 and 7:51 a.m. on Sept. 1.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
Jovany Mitre, 34, of 1925 Hawthorne, Westchester, was charged with domestic battery after an incident at his home just after midnight on Sunday.
