LaGrange Park Library Board short one candidate

LAGRANGE PARK — Only three candidates have filed for four seats on the LaGrange Park Library Board in the April 9 election.
Newcomers Rachel Weaver Rivera and Danielle Johnson have filed for two of three four-year terms, and incumbent Mary Lou Hurley has filed for a two-year term on the board.
Rivera was the only library candidate to apply for endorsement from the LaGrange Park Caucus.
Library Director Dixie Conkis said the board will appoint someone to a two-year term to serve until 2015, unless a write-in candidate emerges.
