Contested Westchster elections

WESTCHESTER — Four candidates are vying for two seats on the Westchester Park District Board in the April 9 election.
Incumbents Dominic Luciano and Derek Gordon are facing challenges from newcomers Joseph De Falco and Steven Bernasek.
Five candidates are seeking four seats on the Westchester Library Board.
Incumbent Timothy Hinsdale, who also filed to run for the Westchester Elementary District 92 ½ Board, and newcomers James Negrete, Miriam Zuniga, Cathy Kuratko and Steven Bernasek are seeking to win a four-year term.
Members of the Westchester First Party are unopposed in their bids for village offices.
Sam Pulia is seeking his second term as village president with Sherby Miller, who has served on the Zoning Board of Appeals, running for village clerk. Three newcomers have filed for four-year trustee terms, Nicholas Steker, Angelo Calcagno and Celestine Reda.
Five newcomers and an incumbent are vying for three seats on the Westchester Elementary District 92 ½ Board.
Becky Lasky, seeking her second term, is facing a challenge from Timothy Hinsdale, who also has filed an incumbent for the Westchester Library Board, as well as Donald Slager, Zachary Bradford, Katherine Ryan and Daniel Joyce.
