LA GRANGE

Lyons Township High School District 204 is examining the cost of artificial turf for one of its soccer fields and renovation, and possible expansion of the the north campus cafeteria as part a four-project package.

District officials stress than none of the projects have been approved and that they are just having the district architect figure out potential costs and options.

Along with the turf and cafeteria projects, DLA Architects will develop design alternatives and cost estimates for fire alarm system upgrades for both campuses and renovation of the Reber Center, the district’s performing arts venue at the north campus.

“None of these have been voted on and none of them have been approved,” board member Thomas Cushing said.

No estimates were provided Tuesday on how much DLA’s architectural work on the four projects will cost the district.~.
