SUV misses hitting La Grange Village Hall

LA GRANGE — A tan SUV plowed into the front lawn of the Village Hall, stopping just short of the building after a three-car collision Monday evening.
Fire engines blocked off the northbound lanes of La Grange Road in front of Village Hall and Harris Avenue along the north side of the building about 8:30 p.m. while crews worked to remove the vehicle. Two compact cars were loaded on a truck waiting to be removed from the scene.
Further details weren’t available as police investigated the crash. It’s not known whether anyone was injured.
A Village Board meeting began at 7:30 p.m., but no one upstairs at the meeting was aware of the crash.
