West Suburban Chamber of Commerce to host employee discipline primer

LA GRANGE – The West Suburban Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the La Grange Business Association, will host "Establishing Sound Legal Policies for Your Business: #2 Employee Discipline and Discharge Without Fear: A "How To" Primer" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20 at La Grange Village Hall.
The presentation will focus on those unfortunate times when employers have to either discipline or part ways with an employee who's not living up to their end of the bargain.
Best practices for investigating possible incidents of employee wrongdoing, proper and ethical interview techniques, and for creating and preserving documentation of such investigation or evidence of employee misconduct will be discussed.
The presentation will be highly interactive and full of real-world examples.
