La Grange father and son ride cross country for fundraiser

La Grange father and son team Bill and Jeff Kunkel have embarked on an epic 3,000 mile cross country bike ride raising funds for Marillac/St. Vincent Family Services, Chicago-based centers that provide early childhood development/daycare for the working poor.
The pair started in California Sept.18 and will end their trip about 60 days later in Hilton Head, S.C., at their home known as Somewhere Out of the Country, hence the title for their ride and blog.
