Garden Club decorates birdhouses

The Western Springs Garden Club held its annual Emogene Cooke Christmas craft and potluck luncheon. This year’s craft was small decorated wooden birdhouses. The creative talents of members were exemplified by the painting and hand decorating of 150 birdhouses.
The birdhouses were taken to Meadowbrook Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, both in La Grange.
