La Grange police blotter for Aug. 14

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of area police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
A 40-year-old La Grange man was transported to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital at 12:26 a.m. Friday after he was intoxicated and fell and hit his head.
A 45-year-old La Grange man was transported to Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital at 5:54 p.m. Aug. 8 for an unknown medical condition causing him to jump a curb and hit a pole in a parking lot of Sedgwick Park near 49th Street and 12th Avenue.
A 17-year-old Burr Ridge boy was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and unlawful possession of a fraudulent drivers license during a stop at 48th Street and La Grange Road.
An intoxicated father was escorted at 12:51 a.m. Saturday from the obstetrics department of Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, 5101 S. Willow Springs Road, because he allegedly was causing a disturbance.
A break-in was reported at 10:18 a.m. Aug. 9 to a car parked on the 800 block of South 7th Avenue.
A man exposing himself to passersby was reported at 9:39 a.m. Sunday on the 100 block of West Calendar Avenue. Police located a 51-year-old man in the vicinity who admitted he wasn’t wearing underwear, but denied exposing himself.
Someone used a key to scrape a car parked between Aug. 7 and 8 at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, 5101 S. Willow Springs Road.
A key was used to damage a car between Aug. 5 and Friday while it was parked at Meadowbrook Manor’s office at 4735 S. Willow Springs Road.
Graffiti was reported at 4:59 p.m. Saturday at 541 S. La Grange Road.
A green Diamondback Viper bike was reported stolen at 3:55 p.m. Monday from Seventh Avenue School, 701 S. 7th Ave.
A women’s black and gold mountain bike valued at $350 was reported stolen at 5:56 p.m. Aug. 9 after it was locked at the La Grange Road train station, 25 W. Burlington Ave.
Truffles, a giant stuffed bear valued at $300 to $500, was reported stolen at 9:12 p.m. Aug. 9 from in front of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, 50B S. La Grange Road. The bear later was recovered from in front of Palmer Place restaurant, 56 S. La Grange Road.
An undetermined amount of change was reported stolen Aug. 8 from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 600 block of Harding Road.
Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1500 block of Blanchan Aug. 8 and stole credit cards.
A neighbor saw and chased off a group of teens at about 11:40 p.m. Aug. 7 after they were seen breaking lights in the parking lot behind an apartment building on the 400 block of Beach Avenue. The damage is estimated at $50.
A bicycle was reported stolen Aug. 7 from outside a home on the 600 block of Harding Road.
A vehicle was reported stolen Aug. 8 from the owner’s driveway on the 1500 block of Newberry Avenue after the keys were left inside and it was unlocked.
Police said they received multiple reports Aug. 8 of someone going through unlocked vehicles the prior night on the 1500 block of Newberry Avenue, though nothing was reported stolen.
