Westchester police blotter for Sept. 11

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Westchester Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Someone broke the window of a vehicle parked on the 700 block of Gardner Road between 10:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Sept. 5. It appeared no one got inside the vehicle.

A tire was slashed on a vehicle parked on the 1300 block of Mannheim Road between Sept. 5 and 3 p.m. Sept. 6.

THEFT

A copper and brass business sign was removed from the Edwin Hancock Engineering Co., 9933 W. Roosevelt Road. The loss is estimated at more than $300.

A flute valued at less than $300 was reported stolen at 10:41 a.m. Friday from a home on the 700 block of Suffolk Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry.
