More than 340 turned out to light up the night at the La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Light Up the Night Gala on Nov. 16 at the Chicago Marriott in Burr Ridge.
The black-tie optional affair went back to the basics, opting out of raffles and auctions, and focusing instead on the many accomplishments of the hospital staff and physicians.
The evening included dinner, a fabulous dessert buffet and music and dancing from the band Spoken Four.
Proceeds from the event came in at $200,000 and will be used to support the Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital Patient Care Center. All monies were matched with a grant from the Community Memorial Foundation, and will help the foundation reach their $5 million goal.
