Lyons Township High School presents Greek play this weekend
The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents the 2012 freshmen/sophomore show “The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza” written by Don Zolidis. Faculty member Mike Kuehl is the director, and Joey Bahena, a junior from La Grange, is the assistant director.
“The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza is a laugh-a-minute look at some of the major and minor myths of ancient Greece. From Cronus to Icarus and all points in between, this low-brow comedy points out the ridiculousness of some myths while highlighting the poignant lessons we can learn from others.”
Performance dates are 7p.m. Dec. 7 and 8 and 3 p.m. Dec. 9 in the South Campus Performing Arts Center located at 4900 S. Willow Springs Road, Western Springs. Tickets are $10 each ($5 for children and senior citizens) and free with an LTHS student ID. Tickets may be purchased in the box office before the show. The theater opens 30 minutes before curtain and the show starts promptly.
