LA GRANGE – In the coming weeks we will be getting to know some of the outstanding students at Nazareth Academy. This week we meet sophomore Matthew Clark.
Westchester’s Matthew Clark is a Nazareth sophomore, but is a two-year starter on the school’s Golf team, a returning state qualifier from last year’s team, which placed fifth in the state, and a part of the foursome that broke Nazareth Varsity Boys Golf record for a low team score in a tournament at the IHSA Regionals this week. “Matthew is not only a great golfer but is willing to unselfishly share his experience and knowledge with his teammates to make our team stronger. He is averaging about two strokes over par for the season and was a medalist in five of the first eight meets,” says Golf Coach Mike Morris.
