Nazareth hosts prom night for students with special needs

Wrist corsages and boutonnieres complemented the formal attire of area high school guests invited to a prom for students with special needs Saturday hosted by Nazareth Academy high school in LaGrange Park.
Students from Nazareth’s Friends in Service and Hospitality group and the student council organized the prom, which featured a DJ, decorations, games and dancing.
Nazareth organizers hope to make the special needs prom an annual event.
